Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies for your assigned category
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats
  • Lead the translation of plans into execution, including leads cultivation, negotiation, and contracting of partnerships
  • Manage P&L of the category under your care, including devising and implementing merchandising mix and onboarding strategy
  • Responsible for Category Performance Analysis & Reporting
  • Lead merchant acquisition efforts, including prospecting, negotiating, and development of necessary marketing tools
  • Responsible for merchant onboarding, including contracting and renewals
  • Manage accounts and sales targets of merchants under your care, continually reviewing performance and working with them to conceive new business ideas
  • Work closely with the Business Head to develop new business ideas to improve performance

Requirements:

  • Degree Holder with at least 5 – 7 years of relevant experience
  • Merchandising, e-commerce, and/or marketplace experience is necessary
  • Strong industry networks and contacts in the industry will be preferred
  • Good communication skills, including both written and presentation skills
