Category Marketing Lead

An exciting opportunity awaits you to drive growth and innovation in our e-commerce platform. As a Category Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for leading the marketing efforts for key categories, including Electronics, Fashion, Lifestyle, and Home & Living. Your primary focus will be on developing and executing growth strategies, category development, and campaign execution in the Non-traveller segment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement accelerated sales and marketing growth strategies for assigned categories.
  • Plan, implement, and execute major category initiatives, including crafting key messages, campaign mechanics, and content frameworks across multiple publicity channels.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand competitor landscapes and sellers/buyers' requirements and behavior relative to category portfolios.
  • Manage weekly to monthly content for categories, including website banners, category and campaign pages, eDMs, and social media channels.
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships to aid growth strategies for assigned categories.
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers to drive overall sales volumes and category branding, ensuring promotional competitiveness, assortment, stock availability of key merchants within categories.
  • Jointly manage category P&L with Business Development Category Leads, focusing on growth, customer experience, and profitability.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in brand management and/or category marketing, with a preference for candidates with brand P&L management in-house.
  • Relevant industry experience in at least two out of the five categories: Electronics, Fashion, Lifestyle, and Home & Living.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing campaign strategies, securing exponential sales and new customer growth.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong experience in briefing and managing creative agencies and production agencies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team member.
  • Disciplined organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and forge partnerships both internally and externally.
  • Experience in digital campaign management and a background in e-commerce will be an advantage.
