Job Title: Category Management SEA Lead

At adidas, we are seeking a highly skilled Category Management SEA Lead to drive designated category development through the ownership of range management KPIs. The successful candidate will assist the Category Senior Manager with the development of the strategic business plan of the category throughout SEA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the Apparel & Kids planning process, comprising of both the interface with EM BU and drawing down that strategy into SEA.
  • Manage the WHS SMU process from an SEA brand lens.
  • Lead category planner for Apparel and Kids, including end to end category planning for the segment.
  • Assist in the wider category range plan, within the aligned country and regional range architecture.
  • Handover category range plan to DTC Assortment Planning Team.
  • Perform category analysis including sell-thru, forecasting, pricing corridor & segmentation compliance, etc.
  • Work within E2E calendar timelines & deliverables.
  • Support local pricing, ensuring pricing harmonization.
  • Support with volume forecast and define product mix to achieve Margin & Net Sales targets and forecast accuracy.
  • Support with sample ordering (pre-sell / SMS).
  • Ensure global systems are up to date with country/cluster information, i.e. RMA / DMT.
  • Local system management i.e. Hublight / MDM / MDC.
  • Gathering market insights and competition intelligence (category level) - feedback to EM CTC.
  • Collaborate with all departments to support with the E2E deliverables, system set up and campaign deliverables.
  • Support broader CTC team with GTM process.
  • Monitor markdown across SEA own channels and lead the PLC to clearance process within SEA Brand team.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in merchandising/product/process management preferred.
  • University degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
  • Category Management/ Ranging/ Merchandising Experience or account marketing / sales.
  • Fluent in English.
