Inventory Control Specialist Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to oversee daily inventory operations in the warehouse, ensuring accurate tracking and management of stock quantities.
- Oversight and control of daily inventory activities in a warehouse environment.
- Responsible for receiving products from terminals and reconciling discrepancies.
- Maintain open lines of communication with production teams to resolve operational issues and ensure smooth processes.
- Record and update inventory levels and production data in our database system, providing insights into current stock quantities.
- Manage inventory movements within our Warehouse Management System (WMS), optimizing storage and retrieval efficiency.
- Prepare regular inventory reports, analyzing trends and identifying areas for improvement.
- Track and reconcile flag forms, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Coordinate manpower and resource allocation for inventory-related tasks, maximizing productivity.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize workforce utilization and allocate resources effectively.
Required Skills:
- At least 2 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and discipline.
- Basic Excel skills required for data analysis and trend identification.
- Familiarity with SAP is advantageous, with experience in data entry and record-keeping.
- Able to adapt to changing priorities, working extended hours as needed during peak periods.
