Optical and Electrical Test Specialist This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Optical and Electrical Test Specialist. As a key member of the testing team, you will be responsible for performing optical and electrical testing of silicon photonics chips using automated and manual test equipment. The successful candidate will have experience in testing wafers and possess strong analytical skills to collect, record, and analyze test data to identify performance trends or defects. You will work closely with engineers to optimize testing workflows and improve yield. Additionally, you will support lab maintenance, including equipment upkeep and inventory management. In this role, you will perform a range of tasks including:
  • Performing optical and electrical testing of silicon photonics chips using automated and manual test equipment
  • Assisting in test setup calibration, alignment, and troubleshooting
  • Collecting, recording, and analyzing test data to identify performance trends or defects
  • Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintaining detailed documentation
  • Collaborating with engineers to optimize testing workflows and improve yield
  • Supporting lab maintenance, including equipment upkeep and inventory management
To be considered for this role, you must have:
