Design Manager Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Design Manager to lead our design development process, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery across multiple projects.

  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field, with a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in architectural design and project coordination.
  • Proven track record in managing design workflows, coordinating teams, and delivering high-quality projects is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Photoshop is required, with rendering skills in Lumion or Enscape being an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead the design development process, ensuring consistency and quality.
  2. Develop and review innovative design concepts, meeting client requirements, project goals, and aesthetic standards.
  3. Check documents and drawings for submission to regulatory authorities for approval.
  4. Supervise the production of BIM models and drawing sets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  5. Implement and refine digital workflows and project management systems to improve efficiency and output.
  6. Act as a key point of contact for clients during design development, addressing feedback and aligning expectations.
  7. Foster collaboration between design, technical, and consultant teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  8. Mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of learning and excellence.

Requirements:

  • A solid understanding of building regulations and submission processes, ideally within the Singapore or Malaysia context.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
  • A proactive mindset with a commitment to design excellence and continuous improvement.
