Job Title: Creative Strategist

Key responsibilities :

We'll expect you to be brilliant at the following:

  • Creative excellence: Demonstrate a strong passion and excitement for creativity. This is an end-to-end role where you'll feed the necessary steers to the team and help drive the work to a better place.
  • Brief interpretation: Comprehends client strategy and research questions, and able to turn their uncertainty into your compass for investigation and discovery.
  • Research: Performs robust and diligent intel gathering from across the web and in peoples' lives; pulling disparate signals together to make sense of perceptions and behaviour.
  • Interviews: Can lead expert and consumer interviews, design discussion guides, conduct interviews, and produce crisp analysis.
  • Data/Culture Analysis: Mining data and producing fresh insights by combining the revelations of data and the richness of cultural shifts.
  • Storytelling: Authors and designs logical presentation narratives to illustrate insights and informed client direction with complete ease.
  • Relationships: Fosters communication across project teams and with clients by presenting, and discussing the application of your strategy work

  • Works closely and collaboratively with creative teams to nurture ideas; is seen as a "go-to" person for inspiration.

  • Don't settle for good enough, push things further to get an even better result.

Skills and requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years relevant experience (with a clear focus on creative strategy), prior agency experience preferred.
  • You are a creative and strategic thinker able to connect our client's goals through a logical approach. You can take a complex concept and present it in a way that is easy to understand.
  • A master/ mistress of the pen; demonstrable experience working with, and translating, data and culture into meaningful insights that inspires creative decision.
  • Running research groups, interviews and other forms of intelligence gathering.
  • Finding an 'angle' and 'way in' for a brand to stand out, make an impression and stick in minds.
  • Reconciling the differences between consumers' current perceptions of the brand and the way the client wishes the brand to be perceived.
  • Creative problem solver with deep experience working with cross functional teams and the ability to provide concise, clear, and actionable creative direction and feedback.
  • Savvy with words, images, graphs/charts to create a polished presentation with a compelling storytelling flow that hooks listeners and brings the strategy to life.
  • Experience with regional, multi-market campaign work is a plus.
