Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Occupational Therapy recognized by the Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) and be registered with AHPC.

  • The successful applicant will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, family caregivers, and domestic helpers, to provide comprehensive support for individuals with dementia and their caregivers.
  • They will develop personalized care plans that cater to the unique needs of individuals living with dementia and their caregivers.
  • Assessing the overall wellbeing of individuals with dementia and implementing person-centered strategies to address behaviors of concern and enhance activity engagement is also an essential part of this role.
  • The Occupational Therapist will conduct individual or group interventions, including occupational therapy consultation and training, to promote independence and quality of life.
  • They will carry out community case management services to ensure seamless care coordination and support for individuals with dementia and their caregivers.
  • Additionally, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of professional practice experience in dementia care, geriatrics, or mental health settings.
