The Senior Director & General Manager of Sonova's APAC Consumer Hearing Business will be responsible for developing and executing a multi-year omnichannel growth roadmap to capture market share and drive profitable sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy to drive growth and market share in the APAC region.
  • Lead a regional multi-functional team to achieve sales and revenue targets.
  • Manage the P&L, from gross sales to net sales and down to regional EBITA.
  • Establish and implement short and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures for the region.
  • Set continually higher goals for the team and identify new opportunities to exceed performance targets.
  • Manage the regional leadership team and engage, motivate, and support diverse talent through development, empowerment, and recognition.
  • Communicate a new direction or change with a clear rationale and sense of urgency.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of business experience gained across FMCG and/or consumer electronics.
  • General Management experience with an expert-level sales background.
  • Preferably a classically trained FMCG commercial leader who has successfully worked in a matrix organization.
  • Has worked extensively across the Asia Pacific region, ideally combining experience in multiple local market roles as well as regional roles.
  • Track record of scaling businesses and driving substantial, profitable revenue growth.
  • Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to inspire and lead teams through change.
  • Higher education with a technical or commercial degree.
  • Willingness to be based in Singapore and travel up to 50%.
