Product Owner, Global Transaction Banking

This is a challenging role that requires an individual with strong leadership skills to manage the development of our digital banking platform. As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for ensuring timely identification, logging, prioritization, and resolution of issues in the delivery and testing phases.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and support, to resolve blockers and defects. Additionally, you will maintain issue dashboards and provide regular reporting to stakeholders. Your analytical skills will be essential in conducting root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures to reduce recurring issues.

In this role, you will also lead the agile team as product owner to deliver the product road map required to support the business growth and strategy of the wholesale and SME banking segments. This involves working in an agile framework and being accountable for the delivery of product build road maps by ensuring that platform road maps are prioritized against business objectives are published regularly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage issue tracking and resolution processes across delivery and testing phases.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve blockers and defects.
  • Maintain issue dashboards and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring issues.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated passion for transformative user experiences.
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from a reputable university/college.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in corporate internet and mobile banking systems in financial institutions.
  • Proven track record of managing complex digital projects in agile environments.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, testing methodologies, and issue management frameworks.
