About Our Operations Manager Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality services to patients and staff in the hospital.

  • You will provide safe and professional transportation of patients, medical records, equipment, medication, and blood products to and from wards, specialist clinics, departments, and external centers.
  • As part of your responsibilities, you will project a professional image at all times and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • You will assist in the reception of patients by providing wheelchairs and trolleys and ensure proper transfer and lifting techniques are practiced when transferring patients.
  • Maintain proper filing systems for daily tasks and reports.
  • Lead a team of porters and provide supervision, grooming, motivation, discipline, and training to enhance their competency level.
  • Conduct training, provide guidance, and coach staff to raise their competency level.
  • Disseminate information where necessary and provide feedback to supervisors on cases of interest.
  • Ensure that equipment and mobile devices are in good working condition at all times and report any defects.
  • Prepare and maintain daily rosters, attendance records, and periodic reports.
  • Collect and consolidate medical certificate submissions, leave application forms, and ensure that all documents are in order prior to submission.
  • Monitor health, safety, and environmental procedures and practices, reporting incidents to supervisors immediately.
  • Respond to hospital or civil emergency activations while on duty or off duty (standby).
  • Undertake any other duties or activities as instructed by supervisors or management.

What We're Looking For

  • A minimum of 'O' Levels and ITE Certificate is required.
  • No experience necessary - training provided.
  • Must be willing to work in Singapore General Hospital.
  • Preferably Non-Executives with experience in general work or healthcare.
  • Able to work 5-6 days a week and overtime when required.
