Job Title: Porter

The Guest Services Porter plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's front-of-house. As part of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests from arrival to departure.

  • Greeting Guests: You will be the first point of contact for many guests, and it is essential that you provide a warm welcome and assist with their luggage.
  • Collaboration: You will work closely with the Front Office team to ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery.
  • Establishing Rapport: Building relationships with long-staying guests is crucial, as you will need to offer assistance as required and respond efficiently to their requests.
  • Guest Requests: You will manage guest baggage storage, deliver parcels and correspondence, and maintain accurate records of all porter duties.
  • Cleanliness: Ensuring the lobby, driveway, and luggage storage areas are kept clean and presentable at all times is an essential aspect of this role.
  • Information Provision: You will stay informed about daily events within the hotel and assist guests or visitors with directions and relevant information as required.
  • Traffic Management: Overseeing and maintaining smooth traffic flow at the hotel driveway is also a key responsibility.
  • Additional Duties: You may be required to perform other duties assigned by supervisors, which will be carried out diligently and professionally.
