NAND CMOS Device Engineer Job Description

The role of NAND CMOS Device Engineer is to contribute to the development of current and future CMOS technology for our memory technology roadmap. This includes working with the design team to set electrical targets and define transistor structures that meet these targets.

Responsibilities:
• Guide device technology development and collaborate closely with process integration, design engineering, reliability, and transistor modeling teams.
• Ensure developed technology is manufacturable and highly yielding, incorporating considerations into the technology from the start.
• Craft and implement the NAND-CMOS roadmap in alignment with product roadmaps.
• Provide direction on improving device portfolio performance and cost-effectiveness.
• Define, execute, and analyze silicon experiments for future device generations.
• Interface with design engineers to define transistor targets, deliver transistor models, and optimize critical layout-constrained design rules.
• Collaborate with TCAD simulation groups to develop strategies for transistor structures meeting targets.
• Ensure transistor models are correctly targeted to anticipate final silicon results.
• Define electrical test structures for transistors, isolation, design rule verification, and process monitoring.
• Foster a collaborative working style and team spirit by mentoring less experienced colleagues.

Requirements:
• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or related field (Ph.D. in semiconductor device technology preferred).
• 5+ years of industry experience in CMOS device design, simulation, characterization, developing advanced logic transistor technologies, and experience with high-voltage applications, reliability, characterization, and device development.
