Senior Administrator, Research Operations

The role of Senior Administrator, Research Operations is a key position in the research administration team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support for grant management and research operations.
  • Coordinate with faculty members to facilitate contract agreements and ensure compliance with regulatory policies.
  • Manage research accounts from award to expiry, validate expenditures, and facilitate grant verification and variation submissions.
  • Promote sound record retention practices to facilitate ease of access and compliance with regulatory policies.
  • Support review panel meetings, recruitment processes, and compile research data and statistics.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in research administration.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Applications and adaptability to new systems and processes.
