Restaurant Operations Manager

Drive Sales and Operational Excellence in Multi-Restaurant Environment.

Job Description:

The Restaurant Operations Manager is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing the sales and operational activities of multiple restaurants. This role involves developing and executing objectives, policies, and plans to achieve company growth, development, and profit targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and recommend policies and long-range plans to ensure effective field sales operations. Ensure compliance with approved policies and objectives.
  • Develop annual/quarterly budgets and collaborate with the Marketing Department on key marketing strategies, sales forecasts by product and district. Supervise the creation of sales estimates and review/approve forecasts.
  • Plan, control, and direct field operations to maximize sales volume and meet quality, service, and cleanliness standards. Develop maximum sales potential and profitability from operators.
  • Oversee store repairs and maintenance programs to minimize disruption to restaurant operations.
  • Enhance Quality Control across all food and related products in the Operations Department. Develop and process research and development programs.
  • Report on operating results, comparing actual performance with budget and established objectives. Recommend corrective action as needed.
  • Participate in market development (new restaurant openings, image enhancement, relocation), restaurant design/layout, and equipment evaluation initiatives.
  • Ensure timely and accurate customer communication handling. Address customer service problems promptly and effectively.
  • Collaborate with service functional areas (Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Shop Development, Training, Quality Control) to provide required support for restaurant operations.
  • Plan and direct changes in staffing and reporting relationships in conjunction with Human Resources. Motivate and develop the current operations workforce to achieve departmental objectives. Ensure personnel understand their accountabilities and have necessary authority and expertise.
