**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Capella Singapore.

**About the Role:**

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff on shift, assigning staff to workstations, leading staff compliance on service, food hygiene, safety, and other standards amongst the team. This role involves assisting line managers in restaurant operations and task assignment, inspecting table setups, monitoring Point of Sales systems, and guiding staff through opening, operating, and closing shifts.

**Key Responsibilities:**

Food and Beverage Operations:

  • Assist line managers with restaurant operations and task assignments.
  • Inspect the setup of cutlery, crockery, and glassware on tables.
  • Monitor the operation of Point of Sales systems during food and beverage orders.
  • Print bills, check them thoroughly before presenting to guests, and accept payments.
  • Guide staff on opening, operating, and closing shifts.
  • Hold briefings with staff for each shift and review occupancy forecasts, reservations, special attention, complaints, problematic issues, and more.
  • Review and update menus and wine lists.

Maintaining Guest Experience:

  • Build and maintain relationships with guests.
  • Proactively maintain guest satisfaction levels by improving service operations.
  • Enhance procedures and systems.
  • Address guest complaints using the instant pacification procedure and ensure guest satisfaction.

Talent Profile:

  1. Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent.
  2. Minimum 2 years of experience in service operations.
  3. Possess Singapore food safety certification.

**What We Offer:**

A competitive salary of SGD $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and opportunities for growth and development.
