Job Overview

The Senior Regional Product Manager is a key role within Amcor Singapore Private Ltd., responsible for driving the strategic planning and commercialization of specific AmSeries platforms in the Asia Pacific region. This position requires a high degree of independence and accountability for driving profitable sales growth, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for assigned platforms, focusing on fast and profitable sales growth across the region.
  • Conduct market assessments, gather insights from fieldwork, and prioritize opportunities to drive business growth.
  • Lead and drive launch planning across Amcor's Asia Pacific business units, ensuring consistency in core principles and key processes.
  • Collaborate with commercial finance, sales, and marketing teams to develop value pricing frameworks and ensure sales teams are trained on product knowledge and selling approaches.
  • Provide input and recommendations on regional capacity needs and allocation of available capacity across the region.
  • Analyze product P&L across the region, including pricing, capacity allocation, and product roadmap.
  • Update value propositions, positioning, and R&D targets based on evolving customer needs and competitor activity.
  • Develop business cases for capital expenditures and establish segment/product objectives for operating and strategic plans.
  • Manage margin over product life cycles and generate region-specific reporting needs.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7-8 years of relevant work experience in B2B product management, with the ability to independently lead the agenda.
  • Direct packaging industry experience or indirect experience as a customer or supplier for packaging is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, including command of spoken and written English, with bi-lingual communication an added advantage.
  • University degree in a relevant discipline, such as management, marketing, commerce, engineering, or finance, with an MBA preferred.
