Gradiant International Holdings Pte. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Applications Engineer to join its team in Singapore. This is a hands-on role that involves working in a lab environment and commercial sites, contributing to the design and development of water and wastewater treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct feasibility studies and operate lab-scale pilot units for different water treatment technologies.
  • Prepare test plans, test reports, and present to internal and external customers.
  • Provide technical and hands-on support for the implementation of pilot studies and new pilot systems.
  • Support commissioning and on-site activities where required.
  • Perform design calculations using membrane simulation tools, statics, and data collection software.
  • Develop new process schemes utilizing emerging technologies.
  • Organize project priorities and ensure timely execution.
  • Manage data within a database and develop standard protocols for operating pilot units.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and supply of materials.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, or relevant degrees.
  • More than 5 years' experience in water treatment: chemical softening, reverse osmosis, evaporation.
  • Familiarity with wet chemistry.
  • Excellent analytical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent writing and communications skills.
