Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing and procurement, with a strong understanding of supply chain management.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services. You will maintain relationships with suppliers, drive cost reduction initiatives, and ensure product quality meets specifications.


Key Responsibilities
  • Sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing of goods and services
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers while driving cost reduction initiatives
  • Partnering with Production and QA to ensure product quality meets specifications
  • Ensuring product supply stability and availability
  • Participating in vendor performance review
  • Analyzing inventory level and managing excess/obsolescence
  • Generating purchase orders and maintaining filing system in accordance with procedures & policies
  • Conducting cost analysis and setting up benchmarks for improvements
  • Participating in continuous improvement projects, highlighting operational, service, and process gaps. Identifying training needs
  • Keeping oneself/herself updated on market trends and practices
  • Performing ad-hoc duties/projects as assigned

Requirements
  • Degree/Diploma in relevant fields
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sourcing experience in F&B industry
  • Good team player
  • Meticulous, strong in process administration, and high integrity
  • Creative flair with ability to think out of the box for problem-solving skills
  • Committed to quality (including food safety and custom compliance) with strong customer focus
  • Strong with interpersonal & communication skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Must be effectively bilingual, both spoken and written Mandarin and English
