Sourcing and Procurement Expert

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who can drive the procurement function forward with strategic thinking, analytical skills, and a passion for delivering results.

About the Role

The Sourcing and Procurement Expert will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with business objectives. This will involve working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and preferences, analyzing market trends and supplier capabilities, and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers. They will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Procurement Strategies

Work with stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop tailored solutions that meet their requirements.

Analyze Market Trends and Supplier Capabilities

Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on industry trends, supplier performance, and emerging technologies.

Manage Supplier Relationships

Bid negotiation, contract management, and relationship-building with key suppliers.

Improve Efficiency and Reduce Costs

Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proven track record of delivering results in a procurement or related field
  • Familiarity with procurement software and systems
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., supply chain management, business administration)
