IT Systems Improvement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Systems Improvement Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating and improving an organization's IT systems by analyzing business requirements, identifying system and software needs, and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business analysis principles and experience with system design, development, and testing. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet their expectations.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Analyzing current IT systems and business models to identify areas for improvement
- Gathering and documenting user and system requirements through consultations, interviews, and observations
- Developing functional specifications and system design documents
- Collaborating with software developers, project managers, and stakeholders to implement and integrate systems
- Conducting system testing and validation to ensure solutions meet business goals
- Providing technical support and training to users
- Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues post-implementation
The qualifications for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience as a System analyst/Application Consultant or in a similar IT role
- Web Application Support - Able to troubleshoot and resolve web application issues (E.g. Bugs, errors, downtime, performance)
- Good technical skills (Oracle SQL, PL/SQL)
