
Senior Public Sector Account Manager

This role involves managing and growing public sector accounts in Singapore, focusing on strategic account management, relationship building, and revenue growth within the public sector vertical.
The ideal candidate will serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned public sector accounts, delivering exceptional service and support. They will develop account plans to grow client portfolios through upsell, cross-sell, and solution expansion strategies.
Key responsibilities include leading strategic discussions with clients to understand challenges and provide relevant IT solutions such as infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and digital transformation. The successful candidate will also collaborate with delivery, technical, and solutioning teams to ensure smooth project execution and high client satisfaction.
Furthermore, they will drive financial planning and forecasting for accounts, ensuring revenue targets and profitability metrics are met or exceeded. They must monitor industry trends, policy changes, and digital initiatives in the public sector to adapt strategies accordingly.
In addition, the Strategic Client Advisor will lead proposal development, pricing, and contract negotiations for account growth and renewals. This requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in IT services sales or account management, preferably in large system integrators or consulting firms.
A strong understanding of working with or selling to Singapore's public sector, including understanding procurement cycles and stakeholder landscape is required. The successful candidate must have strategic foresight, leadership skills, and excellent communication abilities, with a proven record of driving business growth.
Suitable candidates will have experience working with or selling to Singapore's public sector and possess strong business acumen. They should be able to communicate effectively with various stakeholders and have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
