Job Description

The Talent Sourcing Specialist is responsible for conducting in-depth research into local talent markets, industry trends, and competitor landscapes to identify potential candidates and deliver actionable insights.

This role requires a thorough understanding of the local talent landscape and ability to develop effective sourcing strategies utilizing online job platforms, AI-powered databases, and professional networks such as LinkedIn.

  • Conduct thorough market analysis to understand the local talent landscape and identify key competitors.
  • Develop and execute targeted sourcing campaigns to attract top talent from diverse backgrounds.
  • Evaluate candidate profiles, assess suitability, and prepare detailed summaries and recommendations for hiring managers.
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines by proactively identifying, mapping, and engaging passive candidates, including competitor organizations and niche industry talent.
  • Analyze recruitment and sourcing performance data, track key metrics, and generate reports to optimize sourcing campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with recruiters and hiring managers to align sourcing activities with evolving business needs and hiring priorities.
  • Initiate conversations with prospective candidates, foster relationships, and manage candidate engagement using compliant communication channels such as email and LinkedIn.
  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on market trends, talent availability, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in HR or recruitment.
  • Proficiency in using job boards, LinkedIn, Boolean search, and other sourcing tools.
  • Thoroughness in candidate profiling and documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with candidates.
  • Ability to navigate changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.
