Job Description

Regional Category Buyer (Packing Materials) is a critical role in our procurement and supply chain team.

The primary focus is on developing supplier relationships, negotiating terms, and ensuring reliable supply and data-driven decision making to support manufacturing and electronics industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers: Build long-term partnerships to ensure consistent supply of high-quality materials.
  2. Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers: Effectively manage costs and timelines to meet business objectives.
  3. Conduct regular supplier calls and internal meetings: Foster open communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
  4. Conduct regular supplier performance reviews: Assess capabilities, quality, and delivery reliability to inform sourcing decisions.
  5. Procurement & Sourcing: Identify and evaluate new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and risk management.
  6. Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks: Proactively address component shortages, disruptions, or geopolitical factors.
  7. Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with supply chain planning teams for timely delivery of materials and manage lead times.
  8. Data Analysis & Maintenance: Maintain accurate information such as pricing, lead-time, and supplier performance metrics.
