We are seeking a Materials Procurement Specialist to join our team.

This role will play a critical part in planning and managing the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and processing purchase orders according to technical specifications.
  • Sourcing vendors based on capability, costing, capacity, and delivery timelines.
  • Negotiating contract terms for pricing and product quality.
  • Maintaining accurate records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoices.
  • Performing data entry on incoming materials and verifying delivery order, purchase order, and other documentation for finance processing.
  • Coordinating with suppliers and site supervisors for delivery, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Handling overseas shipments, preparing packing lists for project teams, and ensuring correct quantities are received on-site.
  • Matching PO, DO, and invoices and raising queries if discrepancies exist.
  • Maintaining an efficient PO system and performing periodic updates on supplier, price, product, etc.

The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation, Microsoft Office, and data entry skills, as well as experience in inventory management, purchasing, invoicing, administration, and supply chain management. Japanese language proficiency is also highly desirable.
