Job Title: Materials Procurement Specialist

Purchasing plays a vital role in the success of any organization, and as a Materials Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for acquiring raw materials and supplies at the lowest possible cost while maintaining quality and service standards.

You will oversee procurement control and vendor management, sourcing new suppliers to ensure consistent supply chains. Your expertise will help establish policies and procedures related to purchasing, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and select suitable vendors based on their credentials, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring competitive prices and favorable terms.
  • Develop and implement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
  • Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to optimize supply chain operations.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards, such as ISO 13485 and FDA QSR 21 CFR Part 820.
  • Participate in the implementation of new ERP systems to enhance procurement processes.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
