About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced short tail insurance claims specialist to join our Claims Team in Singapore. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to adjust and develop their technical skills in the specific class of business.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate, evaluate and resolve attritional and complex high-value property claims across APAC.
- Provide oversight and management to external vendors, including loss adjusters, lawyers, and other experts.
- Contribute to the development of claim strategies and resolution strategies.
- Negotiate and resolve claims, including attendance at trials, mediations, and settlement discussions.
- Participate in claim reviews, quarterly claims reserving meetings, claim audits, and peer reviews.
- Identify issues and trends in the portfolio and communicate insights to underwriters, insureds, and brokers.
- 7+ years of Commercial Property, Energy, Power and Construction claims experience.
- Ability to evaluate coverage issues involving a wide variety of loss scenarios.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and influence others.
