Insurance Claims Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Insurance Claims Coordinator to join our team at Hastings Deering. As an Insurance Claims Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring insurance job progress, ensuring full documentation of all insurance claims, and processing 3rd party cases after invoiced.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and track outstanding ROs (WIP) to ensure timely closure.
2. Liaise with DXC Finance to compile cash sales reports and insurance excess reports.
3. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all insurance claims.
4. Process 3rd party cases after invoiced, including sending out Letter of Demand (LOD) and preparing for recovery negotiation.
5. Monitor and track partial close-off outstanding ROs (WIP) to ensure timely closure.
6. Ensure the trade receivable is monitored and recovered within 30 days.
7. Prepare and submit warranty submissions, including checking repair orders and warranty files.
8. Generate monthly department reports and work with superiors to address any abnormalities.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in any field with at least 3 years of administration experience in the automotive industry. Computer savvy and meticulous, with knowledge in insurance claims processes and good command of spoken and written English.
