Job Summary

The Senior User Researcher will be instrumental in driving the success of user research in the SEA region, while expanding our local resources.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct extensive research on various user groups in the SEA region, focusing on brand awareness, game behavior, entertainment preferences, and living habits.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the local market and players, providing actionable insights to our publishing team and user research team.
  • Work collaboratively with data scientists and insight teams to ensure the effective implementation and application of research findings.
  • Ensure the efficient execution of offline projects in the SEA region, addressing any issues that may arise during the research process.
  • Promote the optimization of existing recruitment channels, integrating player contact information and refining existing mechanisms.
  • Strategically manage and expand vendor resources, fostering strong relationships with international partners.

Requirements

">
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in user research/marketing research, preferably in the games or internet industries.
  • Proficiency in qualitative and quantitative research methods, including interviews, data analysis, and more.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently with the business side.
  • Substantial experience in vendor management, supplier evaluation, and negotiation.
  • Familiarity with MOBA games is an advantage.
