**Summary of Responsibilities**
We are expanding and are looking for a junior researcher or fresh graduate to
support our growing qualitative practice. You will support a range of projects
across the public policy and consumer research sectors by analysing data and
providing insightful and actionable insights for our clients.

of signalling potential changes of significance before they happen or flagging the

With a keen interest in blending research approaches e.g., qual, quant, mobile,
social, etc to assist in building a valuable connection between our clients and their
target audiences, the Senior/Research Associate will play an active role in
qualitative fieldwork management and proposal writing, helping to grow our
business, and including:

- Plan and implement qualitative research, including in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, online diaries, and workshops
- Play an active role in designing and facilitating workshops and capability-building sessions with clients and study participants
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and impactful reports and presentations
- Conduct literature reviews, cultural and social media scans
- Provide effective and timely client servicing

**Critical Technical, Professional and Personal Capabilities**
- Preferably at least 1 year of research and/or consulting experience (within government, public/third sector/academic, or at a research consulting firm). Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Degree in Political Science, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, or another related discipline (though we welcome budding researchers from all backgrounds)
- Preferably with prior experience in qualitative data analysis
- Ambidextrous thinker who is comfortable with data and able to think laterally and creatively
- Possess a strong initiative, a passion for human insights, and excellent organizational skills
- Proactive and self-motivated, a collaborative team player who is not afraid to articulate a point of view
- Strong storytelling and presentation skills
