We're seeking a skilled Business Growth Strategist to join our team at Colgate-Palmolive. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business results through deep customer understanding and strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of customers' needs and preferences to drive business growth and competitiveness.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to foster commitment to joint business plans that deliver superior results.
  • Evaluate and optimize trade spending to ensure meaningful return on investment (ROI).
  • Collaborate with distributors' sales forces and merchandising teams to implement effective 5Ps strategies.
Day-to-Day Activities:
  • Regularly engage with customers to build support for Colgate's business initiatives.
  • Determine the optimal product assortment, point-of-purchase (POP) utilization, and pricing strategy for each customer.
  • Conduct store visits to monitor compliance with 5Ps plans, identify gaps, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Communicate effectively with sales representatives and distribution managers to ensure alignment and delivery of Colgate's standards.
  • Manage and track trade spending within approved budgets.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve sales and distribution performance.
  • Collaborate with distributors on the execution of business plans, including new product distribution, display plans, promotional events, and detailing.
Leadership and Supervision:
  • Provide leadership to distributors' sales forces and merchandising teams, ensuring clear understanding and delivery of Colgate's standards.
  • Foster collaboration with distributor and merchandising agency leadership teams to provide appropriate support for Colgate's business initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (marketing, business, communications, etc.).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in modern trade and omnichannel management.
  • A self-starter who can work independently and across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to drive executional excellence and business results.
  • Strong commercial understanding and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite products (especially Sheets, Docs & Slides).
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Proven ability in data analysis.
