Senior Cost Estimator

A highly skilled professional is required to provide expert advice on cost management and control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying and experience in estimating project costs, monitoring budgets, and implementing effective cost control measures.
Preparation of accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects;
Development, monitoring, and control of project budgets;
Implementation of effective cost control measures to ensure compliance with project specifications and budget constraints;
Assistance in the tendering process by preparing and evaluating tender documents;
Review of contractor and supplier bids, negotiation of contracts, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and budget constraints.
A bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field;
Professional accreditation is desirable;
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry;
Proficient in cost estimation software and MS Excel;
Strong analytical, mathematical, and negotiation skills;
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
A minimum of 2 years previous work experience as a Quantity Surveyor, in built environment or related field.
