Market Development Director

We are seeking a seasoned Casino Market Growth Strategist to join our dynamic team at MARINA BAY SANDS PTE. LTD.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and results-driven professional to lead our casino market development efforts in Singapore.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth from defined target markets, supporting a culture of communication and collaboration, and taking ownership of personal and professional development.
In addition, the role will involve promoting the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort, growing and maintaining a specific assigned book of business, and ensuring excellent customer experience.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and relationship management skills, with extensive experience in sales, business development, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Development: Work effectively with the respective Market Development sales team to drive business from defined target markets; support a culture of communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing to help build constructive, dynamic teams that exhibit the company's core values; take ownership of personal and professional development; operate well under a shared vision with shared business objectives under senior leadership; collaborate with other teams as well as other departments to help build an efficacious organization that is business-focused and people-centric; protect the integrity and reputation of Marina Bay Sands and its team members.
- Customer Engagement and Relationship Management: Promote the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort and drive increased awareness of Las Vegas Sands and its affiliated properties; grow and maintain a specific assigned book of business through personalized sales engagement, in accordance with all company policies; develop strong professional interpersonal relationships with new and existing customers to drive incremental visitation to Marina Bay Sands; ensure that excellent customer experience is the focal point of customer touchpoints and interactions, in alignment with all applicable guidelines; manage relevant budgets and complementaries in alignment with customer reinvestment strategies to ensure desired customer profitability and margin.
- Strategic Planning and Implementation: Develop an understanding of the demographics, culture, behaviors, and competitive landscape in each respective target market to support the design, development, and execution of successful business strategies; assist in the timely implementation of market-specific initiatives with clear, measurable targets and assigned ownership to maintain and grow the business segment; actively contribute in collaborative strategic planning processes within the team to identify opportunities that will drive optimal growth and both short and long-term profitability for Marina Bay Sands.

- Background and Skills: University degree preferred; extensive experience in sales, business development, relationship marketing, hospitality, or related fields; must be fluent in English and another Asian language, as the successful candidate will be required to liaise with English- and other Asian language-speaking guests; proficiency in the use of basic Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.
A competitive salary range of SGD 90,000 - SGD 120,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and opportunities for career growth and development.
