A leading company in the cryptocurrency industry is on the lookout for a Marketing Director to drive its marketing strategy and lead its team. With over 50 million self-custody cryptocurrency wallets created and a rapidly expanding news, media, and educational content platform, the company seeks a proactive leader to shape marketing efforts, elevate brand visibility, and drive customer engagement and revenue. In this role, the Marketing Director will be a key player in setting the strategic direction for marketing initiatives, moving towards a more proactive approach. This individual will work closely with the leadership team to ensure that marketing activities are aligned with business objectives, providing clear guidance and connecting strategic goals with daily operations. Candidates with a strong track record in fintech marketing and leadership skills are invited to make a significant impact. Role & Responsibilities: Strategic Planning and Leadership Develop and Implement Strategies : Create and execute marketing strategies that align with the company’s business goals. Collaborate with the executive team to ensure these strategies support broader company objectives. Team Leadership : Lead and guide the marketing team, fostering a proactive and innovative culture. Brand Management : Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and identity, ensuring consistent and effective communication across all company channels and to all stakeholders. Acquisition, Engagement, and Retention Drive Traffic and Conversions : Optimize strategies to increase conversions using data analysis to enhance performance. Enhance User Experience and Retention : Refine strategies based on user feedback and behavioral data for a seamless journey. Measure and Optimize : Use analytics to assess and improve acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies, providing insights for ongoing adjustments. Innovate and Engage : Develop strategies to boost engagement and loyalty, build strong relationships with customers and partners, and experiment with new tactics to stay ahead of industry trends. Brand and Communications PR and Communication Strategies : Develop and execute strategies to enhance brand reputation and visibility. Agency and Partner Management : Manage relationships with external entities to ensure impactful marketing initiatives. Spokesperson Role : Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and media engagements. Market Research and Analysis Conduct Research : Identify trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape through market research. Data-Driven Insights : Utilize insights from data to inform marketing strategies and decision-making processes. Monitor Industry Developments : Track industry developments, emerging technologies, and market opportunities, and report findings to guide strategic planning. Campaign Management Campaign Execution : Plan, execute, and evaluate multi-channel campaigns, including digital and traditional advertising. Performance Analysis : Analyze campaign performance metrics and optimize strategies to maximize ROI and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs). Budget Management : Oversee the marketing budget to ensure efficient resource allocation and cost management. Event Coordination : Organize and oversee marketing events to support campaigns and enhance brand visibility. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, Director, or similar senior marketing role, preferably within the fintech or cryptocurrency industry. Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and analytics. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
