International Standardisation Event Coordinator

Singapore will host the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) General Meeting in 2027, a major international event bringing together global standardisation and conformity assessment stakeholders.

This role supports the project team in managing operational and logistical aspects of the event, ensuring strong coordination across stakeholders and smooth execution.

You will collaborate with industry experts, government agencies, institutions of higher learning, professional bodies, industry associations and other stakeholders to identify and develop national and international standards in areas such as sustainability, digitalisation and resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the strategic planning, coordination and execution of a high-profile international standardisation event.
  • Shape the event's overarching themes and narratives aligned to national strategic interests, including innovations and areas of thought leadership relevant to standards and conformance.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with IEC and other global stakeholders to drive strategic alignment with event objectives and global trends.
  • Engage WOG agencies and local industry stakeholders to drive coordinated national effort that brings maximum benefit to Singapore.

Event Operations:

  • Liaise with appointed Professional Conference Organiser to ensure end-to-end project implementation, including procurement, vendor partnerships, programme development, budget management, sponsorship development, marketing and post-event evaluation.
  • Assist with the development of event content, including programmes, speaking engagements, and side activities.
