Job Opportunity

Singapore will host the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) General Meeting, a major international event that brings together global standardisation and conformity assessment stakeholders.

You will support the project team in managing operational and logistical aspects of the event, ensuring strong coordination across stakeholders and smooth execution on the ground.

Collaborate with industry experts, government agencies, institutions of higher learning, professional bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to identify and develop national and international standards in areas such as sustainability, digitalisation, and resilience.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support strategic planning, coordination, and execution of the high-profile international standardisation event.
  • Shape the event's overarching themes and narratives aligned to national strategic interests.
  • Collaborate with IEC and other global stakeholders to drive strategic alignment with event objectives and global trends.
  • Engage relevant stakeholders to drive coordinated national effort.
  • Liaise with appointed event organisers to ensure end-to-end project implementation.
  • Assist with event content development, including programmes, speaking engagements, and side activities.
  • Contribute to sponsorship efforts and budget tracking.
