**2. What are the main responsibilities of an event coordinator?**
- Responsible for planning and coordinating details of events such as conferences, dinners, anniversaries, charity events, trade shows, sales meetings, business meetings and employee appreciation events.
- Ensuring deadlines and all work processes are adhered to, including costing for all events with detailed recording of receipts & expenditures (working with sales person with regards to costings).
- Interface with other departments, manage external suppliers, contractors, venue providers and all parties involved to ensure smooth coordination and execution of events;
- Coordinating part-time staffing requirements, hire, train, and conduct briefing if necessary for all part timers on event requirements & procedures;
- Liaising with external agencies to ensure law compliance - e.g. Police Entertainment Unit, FSB, BCA & etc;
- Work directly with design team to develop & coordinate all artworks; work closely with sales and marketing team and assist them in the projects.
- Ensure high level of customer satisfaction by delivering premium service;
- Accounts servicing including follow up and handle client enquiries, feedback, last minute requests, attending meetings, troubleshooting at events and ensure that all event requirements & itineraries run smoothly;
- Post-event evaluation (including data entry and producing reports), ensuring invoicing, unpacking, coordinating prompt returns / delivery to client and any other works necessary for the completion of the event.
**Other Key Requirements**:
- Able to work nights, weekends, PH and in accordance to event schedules when needed.
- Positive learning attitude and possess excellent writing, communications and organizational skills.
- A team player who is efficient, resourceful and meticulous.
- Able to multi-task & work independently under a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and minimum supervision.
- Possess strong interpersonal skills and good customer service, able to listen to clients’ needs
and presenting ideas and solutions to their requirements.
**3. How do I know if I am eligible to be an event coordinator at The Event Experience?**
