Regional Business Development Lead APAC

About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Commercial Director to lead our Asia Pacific team. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and sales skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies, translating strategy into measurable team and individual KPIs.
- Partner with stakeholders to define and execute the best strategy using available resources within the region.
- Acquire and develop new business within the region, executing lead nurturing processes.
- Raise awareness of the company in the region, acquiring new clients and business through identifying target markets and assessing client needs.
- Create awareness of new and existing products and features, implementing best practices for the region.
- Develop cross-regional business relationships for Atradius Collections and Atradius Credit Insurance as the key commercial contact point within the region.
- Represent Atradius externally within the region, building and maintaining external relationships.
- Responsible for regional cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Manage the region's business funnel, keeping team data updated.
- Identify, stimulate, and facilitate effective regional servicing of customers, introducing and applying the best service approach across the region.
- Negotiate terms of business across the region.
- Translate customer feedback to tangible actions, increasing customer satisfaction across the region.
- Lead the region's (Collections) leadership team, building strong relationships with Regional Managers, Functional Managers, Peers, and Atradius Credit Insurance colleagues.
- Responsible for the regional leadership of the commercial team, including field sales in the region.
- Motivate and manage individuals to successful execution and delivery, acting as a role model and leader by example.
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying areas for improvement, efficiencies, and effectiveness.
