Marine Transportation Business Development Specialist

As a strategic commercial professional, you will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and market growth in the heavy marine transport sector. You will develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify market opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to promote repeat business and enhance our reputation.
- Lead negotiations and contract development to ensure favorable terms and conditions that mitigate risks and maximize commercial benefits.
- Collaborate closely with internal disciplines to provide commercial guidance and support effective project execution and delivery.
- At least 3-5 years' relevant working experience as a business development manager, commercial manager, or sales manager within the maritime industry.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, or a related field.
- Affinity with the maritime industry, particularly heavy marine transportation.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
