Job Opportunity: Heavy Marine Transport Commercial Manager

In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the pursuit of new business ventures and drive market growth within the heavy marine transport sector.

This position entails working on a wide range of international and unique projects, some of which may garner significant media attention. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse clients and devise innovative solutions tailored to their needs.

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and developments to identify emerging market opportunities.
  • Inform and assist clients in the early stages of project development with strategic solutions aimed at securing favorable positions and upcoming opportunities for the organization.
  • Identify and engage with potential clients, understand their requirements, and offer customized solutions that align with the organization's capabilities and services.
  • Achieve pre-qualification with existing and potential clients to enable participation in project bidding.
  • Lead negotiations and contract development, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions that mitigate risks and maximize commercial benefits.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, providing commercial guidance and supporting effective project execution and delivery.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to foster repeat business and enhance the organization's reputation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, including contract management, pricing policies, and business ethics.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the maritime industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, or a related field.
  • A strong affinity for the maritime industry, particularly the heavy marine transportation segment.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels.
