Reservation Assistant

At our hotel, we are seeking a highly skilled Reservation Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and have a keen eye for detail.

Job Description

The Reservation Assistant will be responsible for handling all aspects of reservations, including managing rooming lists, corporate bookings, and crew blocks. This will involve coordinating with the sales and operations teams to ensure that all key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and maintained.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the reservations sales team and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintaining accurate records of arrivals, billing, VIP status, and guest preferences.
  • Ensuring that travel agency commissions, reservations sales conditions, profile tracking, and guest recognition are checked, completed, and updated accordingly.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a reservations or sales role.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRS, PMS, RESAWeb, or distribution systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
