Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Reservation Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing room reservations, coordinating with operations, and providing exceptional customer service.

  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries via email or phone to ensure a smooth check-in process.
  • Handle credit card information and charges for prepaid reservations securely.
  • Coordinate special requests with operations and update reservation information accurately into the system.
  • Effectively manage corporate, airline, and group bookings.
  • Monitor advance deposits and prepayments, and assist in promoting and upselling rooms to increase revenue.
  • Manage 'no shows' and coordinate with the Front Office on applicable charges.

Requirements:

  • NITEC or higher qualification is required.
  • Relevant working experience in a similar position within the hospitality industry is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary.
  • Ability to multitask and possess time-management skills is a must.
  • Familiarity with using Opera Cloud is advantageous.
