Job Title:

Company Legal Counsel

Job Description:
  • A seasoned legal professional is required to provide expert guidance on all aspects of Singapore law and various applicable laws, regulations, and company rules.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the development of comprehensive legal opinions and contracts for commercial purposes.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to negotiate and finalize business agreements.
  3. Develop and maintain standard terms and conditions for all businesses in Singapore.
  4. Conduct legal research and analysis to support business decisions.
  5. Manage corporate secretarial matters, including company incorporation, registration, and renewal.
  6. Evaluate and draft internal policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  7. Provide dispute management services as needed.
Requirements:
  • Degree in law (LLB) from a reputable university and admission to the Singapore bar.
  • 5-8 years of experience in a law firm or as a legal counsel, with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, general corporate law, and litigation.
  • Proven track record of providing expert legal advice and guidance to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and external partners.
  • Ability to travel within ASEAN countries for business purposes.
