Corporate Lawyer Job Description

This role involves providing legal advice and support across various business operations, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

  • Provide strategic legal guidance on business operations to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including vendor, client, partnership, employment, and service agreements.
  • Advise management on legal risks, corporate governance, intellectual property, and data privacy matters.
  • Manage regulatory and licensing matters relevant to the industry.
  • Liaise with external counsel when necessary and manage litigation or dispute resolution processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • LL.B or equivalent legal qualification; being called to the bar is preferred.
  • 3-6 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in a corporate/commercial law firm or in-house legal team.
  • Solid understanding of contract law, corporate law, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
