Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Insurance Sales Professional to join our team in Singapore. As part of our team, you will be empowered to make healthy decisions and manage your financial well-being to help plan for your future. We provide access to a range of learning and development resources to broaden and deepen your skills and knowledge as your career progresses.

You will work closely with sales executives to create, drive, and support business plans and initiatives. You will also be responsible for partnering with sales leadership to deliver activities, programs, and promotions on monthly sales and marketing calls. Additionally, you will liaise with partners to develop marketing opportunities to maximize growth in sales and customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.

About the Role

The Insurance Specialist - C11 is a developing professional role that deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing the objectives of the subfunction/job family. Applies analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Requires attention to detail when making judgments and recommendations based on the analysis of factual information.

Typically deals with variable issues with potentially broader business impact. Applies professional judgment when interpreting data and results. Breaks down information in a systematic and communicable manner. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to exchange potentially complex/sensitive information. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses' core activities. Quality and timeliness of service provided will affect the effectiveness of own team and other closely related teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support Sales Delivery: Support sales delivery to internal and external partners through a dual delivery model in follow-up and responsiveness.
  • Growth Initiatives: Responsible for supporting internal and external growth initiatives communicated to the team.
  • Communication Dissemination: Responsible for disseminating communications.
  • Cross-Sell Opportunities: Provide support on increasing and capturing cross-sell opportunities.
  • Sales Efficiency: Increase efficiencies of daily sales and operational activities.
  • Sales Results Reporting: Responsible for reporting sales results and reasons for successes.
  • Sales Executive Support: Support sales executives with specific business initiatives; create, lead, and advise on sales and product training; and support growth of sales.
  • Liaison between Teams: Liaise between sales teams and branches on initiatives.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Represent sales on the development of strategies and programs to effectively partner with the bank.
  • Monthly Calls: Responsible for partnering sales leadership to deliver activities, programs, and promotions on monthly sales and marketing calls.
  • Marketing Opportunities: Liaise with partners to develop marketing opportunities to maximize growth in sales and customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience
  • Previous banking experience preferred

Education

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience

Salary

$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
