Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executing and managing commodity derivative trades, with a focus on maximizing profit and minimizing risk.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Execute and manage commodity derivative trades across selected commodities markets, focusing on profit maximization and risk management.
  • Analyse market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical factors to make informed trading decisions and develop effective strategies.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of risk allocation and management, ensuring compliance with our risk parameters and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with research and analytics teams to identify and capitalize on trading opportunities within the commodity derivatives market.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of market regulations and industry best practices, adhering to compliance standards at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years trading experience in a financial/derivatives trading role.
  • Successful PnL track record.
  • Demonstrable repeatable investment process.
  • Strong understanding in the fundamentals of associated markets.
  • Able to articulate trade ideas/overall strategy in a considered manner.
  • Highly numerical, preferably with some basic knowledge in statistics and probabilities.
  • Self-disciplined, highly motivated, and proactive.
