Job Title: Commodities Trading Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Commodities Trading Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the trading floor, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by marketing and selling commodities derivatives products to institutional and corporate clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong command of commodities markets and derivative instruments, as well as excellent presentation and negotiation skills. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, developing tailored trading and hedging solutions that align with their investment strategies and risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Develop a structured sales pipeline through proactive networking and industry events.
  • Conduct market research to pinpoint emerging opportunities and client segments.
  • Structure and execute trades in collaboration with trading desks.
  • Monitor client transactions to ensure alignment with internal risk policies and external regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in commodities sales, trading, or financial services.
  • Strong expertise in derivatives instruments (futures, options, swaps) and practical knowledge of risk management strategies.
  • Established network of institutional or corporate commodity clients in Asia.
  • Familiarity with SGX products and global commodities exchanges.
