Job Description

The role involves collaborating closely with colleagues across various regions, including Singapore, Southeast Asia, Washington, D.C., and globally. This position requires expertise in industry, government, geopolitical, investment, and business trends in the Southeast Asia region. The Associate Partner will lead and support client engagements addressing complex and sensitive issues in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include co-leading client teams, delivering valuable client service, developing new business through research products and strategic counsel, and expanding existing client relationships.

The ideal candidate possesses a comprehensive understanding of geopolitical, regulatory, and trade issues in Southeast Asia, as well as their intersections with key global markets.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience
  • Bachelor's degree in political science, international relations, public policy, communications, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A graduate degree in a related field is preferred
  • Demonstrated excellence in writing, editing, research, and analytical thinking, with a strong ability to critically assess research scope and content
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Chinese, Japanese, Indonesian, Malay, Vietnamese, or Tagalog is preferred
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of managing both long-term and short-term projects independently, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, collaborating effectively across multiple time zones and geographies
