Job Overview
This exciting role as a High-Value Claims Specialist is located in the heart of the Central Business District (CBD) and offers a hybrid work arrangement with excellent work-life balance and a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing high-value and complex claims referred from Account Managers or existing clients across Asia, US, and Europe regions. Your expertise will include providing medical advice for claims insurance adjudication, supported by the reinsurers' Chief Medical Officer when necessary.
You will also make decisions and recommendations on complex medical claims/high value claims (including Controlled Claims referred by Partners), within your delegated authority.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will support product development and design for existing and new insurance clients, focusing on policy wording and claims practices, including operational processes and claims-related training.
Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience handling life/health/medical-related claims.
- The ability to understand basic/simple medication terms, medical procedures, and names of common medicines.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare and insurance markets.
- Excellent written and communication skills for effective claims handling towards all stakeholders.
- The ability to make good judgments and claims decisions.
Benefits
The ideal candidate will enjoy an attractive salary of approximately SGD $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, plus excellent medical benefits, bonus opportunities, and a flexible work arrangement.
