Senior Engineering Lead for Railway Systems

The primary function of this role is to oversee the management of interface projects from inception through completion.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers responsible for managing system interfaces in a site environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to ISCS interface activities.
  • Coordinate technical sessions with key stakeholders, including customers, external consultants, and system wide contractors, to discuss system interface issues.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and timelines for interface testing with subsystems of major SWCs.
  • Collaborate closely with software development teams to drive technical development and ensure the delivery of ISCS software for ITC activities.
  • Monitor and track Interface Related Documents, such as ICDs, IDDs, OMPDs, etc.
  • Follow up on software interface related issues with the software development team.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in railway systems.
  • Excellent communication and customer management skills are highly valued.
  • Able to work under pressure and deliver projects within tight deadlines.
  • Self-management is essential before leading others.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and as a team leader.
